As Armand and Alfred said, there are local speed-limits on the Autobahn. And these getting more. But anyway there is so much traffic on the Autobahn that it is no fun to ride on Autobahn. The country-roads (specially in Black Forest) give you more fun to ride on. There is not so much Traffic, you can ride a good crusing speed
(about 95 to 110 kph) and see a lot of nice villages. If I had to ride a little on a Autobahn I search me a Truck which is driving about 90 kph and leave behind him, where no wind is. So I don't need so much gasoline.
